Yaññadeva, bhikkhave, bhikkhu bahulamanuvitakketi anuvicāreti, tathā tathā nati hoti cetaso.   Монахи, то, над чем монах постоянно размышляет и обдумывает, – это и становится направленностью его ума.  
Whatever a mendicant frequently thinks about and considers becomes their heart’s inclination.

passaddhiyā sati nati na hoti.   Когда есть безмятежность, нет склонности.  
When there is tranquility there’s no inclination.  

Tasmiṁ patiṭṭhite viññāṇe virūḷhe nati hoti.   When consciousness is established and grows, there is an inclination.  
Tasmiṁ patiṭṭhite viññāṇe virūḷhe nati hoti.  
When consciousness is established and grows, there is an inclination.  
Tadappatiṭṭhite viññāṇe avirūḷhe nati na hoti.  
When consciousness is not established and doesn’t grow, there’s no inclination.  

Passaddhiyā sati nati na hoti.   When there’s tranquility there’s no inclination.
