The sage who has comprehended all things, high and low,

“Kā cānanda, migasālā upāsikā bālā abyattā ammakā ammakapaññā, ke ca purisapuggalaparopariyañāṇe?  «Воистину, кто она такая, эта мирянка Мигасала? Глупая, несведущая женщина с женским рассудком. И кто они – те, [кто имеют прямое] знание других личностей как высших или низших. 
“Ānanda, who is this laywoman Migasālā, a foolish incompetent aunty, with an aunty’s wit? And who is it that knows how to assess individuals? 
Kā cānanda, migasālā upāsikā bālā abyattā ammakā ammakapaññā, ke ca purisapuggalaparopariyañāṇe. 
Воистину, кто она такая, эта мирянка Мигасала? Глупая, несведущая женщина с женским рассудком. И кто они – те, [кто имеют прямое] знание других личностей как высших или низших. 
Who is this laywoman Migasālā, a foolish incompetent aunty, with an aunty’s wit? And who is it that knows how to assess individuals? 

Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu dhammaññū ca hoti atthaññū ca attaññū ca mattaññū ca kālaññū ca parisaññū ca puggalaparoparaññū ca.  It’s when a mendicant knows the teachings, knows the meaning, has self-knowledge, knows moderation, knows the right time, knows assemblies, and knows people high and low. 
Puggalaparoparaññū ca kathaṁ hoti? 
And how are they one who knows people high and low? 
Evaṁ, bhikkhave, bhikkhu puggalaparoparaññū hoti. 
That’s how a mendicant is one who knows people high and low. 

Puna caparaṁ, bhikkhave, tathāgato parasattānaṁ parapuggalānaṁ indriyaparopariyattaṁ yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti.  Furthermore, the Realized One truly understands the faculties of other sentient beings and other individuals after comprehending them with his mind. 
Yampi, bhikkhave, tathāgato parasattānaṁ parapuggalānaṁ indriyaparopariyattaṁ yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti, idampi, bhikkhave, tathāgatassa tathāgatabalaṁ hoti …pe… brahmacakkaṁ pavatteti. 
Since he truly understands this, this is a power of the Realized One. … 

Puna caparaṁ, ānanda, tathāgato parasattānaṁ parapuggalānaṁ indriyaparopariyattaṁ yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti.  Furthermore, the Realized One truly understands the faculties of other sentient beings and other individuals after comprehending them with his mind. 

“Kā cānanda, migasālā upāsikā bālā abyattā ammakā ammakapaññā, ke ca purisapuggalaparopariye ñāṇe?  “Ānanda, who is this laywoman Migasālā, a foolish incompetent aunty, with an aunty’s wit? And who is it that knows how to assess individuals? 
Kā cānanda, migasālā upāsikā bālā abyattā ammakā ammakapaññā, ke ca purisapuggalaparopariye ñāṇe. 
Who is this laywoman Migasālā, a foolish incompetent aunty, with an aunty’s wit? And who is it that knows how to assess individuals? 

Puna caparaṁ, sāriputta, tathāgato parasattānaṁ parapuggalānaṁ indriyaparopariyattaṁ yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti.  Далее, Татхагата понимает в соответствии с действительностью диспозицию качеств других существ, других личностей. 
Furthermore, the Realized One truly understands the faculties of other sentient beings and other individuals after comprehending them with his mind. 
Yampi, sāriputta, tathāgato parasattānaṁ parapuggalānaṁ indriyaparopariyattaṁ yathābhūtaṁ pajānāti, idampi, sāriputta, tathāgatassa tathāgatabalaṁ hoti yaṁ balaṁ āgamma tathāgato āsabhaṁ ṭhānaṁ paṭijānāti, parisāsu sīhanādaṁ nadati, brahmacakkaṁ pavatteti.

Since he truly understands this, this is a power of the Realized One. …

“Imesañca panāhaṁ, āvuso, catunnaṁ satipaṭṭhānānaṁ bhāvitattā bahulīkatattā parasattānaṁ parapuggalānaṁ indriyaparopariyattaṁ yathābhūtaṁ pajānāmī”ti. 
“… And it’s because of developing and cultivating these four kinds of mindfulness meditation that I truly understand the faculties of other sentient beings and other individuals after comprehending them with my mind.”
