"The foremost among my disciples in terms of appearance and demeanor is the monk Aśvajit. The one with boundless wisdom and the ability to resolve doubts is the monk Śāriputra. The one with the power of lightness and the ability to fly to the ten directions is the monk Mahāmaudgalyāyana. The one who is courageous, diligent, and capable of enduring hardships is the monk Vīradatta. The one who practices the twelve ascetic practices that are difficult to attain is the monk Mahākāśyapa. The one with the foremost divine eye who sees the realms of the ten directions is the monk Aniruddha. The one who sits in meditation and enters concentration without distraction is the monk Revata. The one who is able to widely encourage and establish offerings and lectures is the monk Dharmaruci. The one who builds monasteries and invites monks to stay is the monk Dharmaruci's younger brother. The one who comes from a noble family and leaves home to study the path is the monk Rāhula.
