7.1 (一)

"My foremost lay disciple in terms of initial attainment of the path is Nanda and Nandabala. The foremost in wisdom is Kudrāstha. The foremost in constant meditation is Subhadra. The foremost in clear understanding of the faculties is Vibhūta. The foremost in skillful preaching is Angaja. The foremost in explaining the meaning of the scriptures is Bhadrasena. The foremost in subduing non-Buddhists is Vasumitra. The foremost in clear and resonant voice is Anuruddha. The foremost in various discussions is Vararuci. The foremost in vigorous effort is Sthavira."

「我弟子中第一优婆斯,初受道证,所谓难陀难陀婆罗优婆斯是。智慧第一,久寿多罗优婆斯是。恒喜坐禅,须毘耶女优婆斯是。慧根了了,毘浮优婆斯是。堪能说法,鸯竭阇优婆斯是。善演经义,跋陀娑罗须焰摩优婆斯是。降伏外道,婆修陀优婆斯是。音响清彻,无优优婆斯是。能种种论,婆罗陀优婆斯是。勇猛精进。所谓须头优婆斯是。」
