"And what, bhikkhus, is the path crushing the army of Māra? It is the seven factors of enlightenment. What seven? The enlightenment factor of mindfulness … the enlightenment factor of equanimity. This is the path crushing the army of Māra."
1"Mārasenappamaddanaṁ vo, bhikkhave, maggaṁ desessāmi; taṁ suṇātha.
Katamo ca, bhikkhave, mārasenappamaddano maggo? Yadidaṁ – satta bojjhaṅgā. Katame satta? Satisambojjhaṅgo … pe … upekkhāsambojjhaṅgo – ayaṁ kho, bhikkhave, mārasenappamaddano maggo"ti.
