SN55:55 The Fruit of Stream-Entry

1"Bhikkhus, these four things, when developed and cultivated, lead to the realization of the fruit of stream-entry. What four? sn.v.411 Association with superior persons, hearing the true Dhamma, careful attention, practice in accordance with the Dhamma. These four things, when developed and cultivated, lead to the realization of the fruit of stream-entry."

1"Cattārome, bhikkhave, dhammā bhāvitā bahulīkatā sotāpattiphalasacchikiriyāya saṁvattanti. Katame cattāro? Sappurisasaṁsevo, saddhammassavanaṁ, yonisomanasikāro, dhammānudhammappaṭipatti – ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro dhammā bhāvitā bahulīkatā sotāpattiphalasacchikiriyāya saṁvattantī"ti.
