Next, before the sacrifice, the brahmin high priest dispelled the king’s regret regarding the recipients in ten respects:  
Imehi kho, brāhmaṇa, purohito brāhmaṇo rañño mahāvijitassa pubbeva yaññā dasahākārehi paṭiggāhakesu vippaṭisāraṁ paṭivinesi.  
— Так, брахман, от этих десяти видов [людей], получающих долю в жертвоприношении, посоветовал царю устранить сожаление царский жрец-брахман перед жертвоприношением.  
These are the ten respects in which the high priest dispelled the king’s regret regarding the recipients before the sacrifice.

Next, while the king was performing the great sacrifice, the brahmin high priest educated, encouraged, fired up, and inspired the king’s mind in sixteen respects:  
Imehi kho, brāhmaṇa, purohito brāhmaṇo rañño mahāvijitassa mahāyaññaṁ yajamānassa soḷasahi ākārehi cittaṁ sandassesi samādapesi samuttejesi sampahaṁsesi.  
Так, брахман, этими шестнадцатью видами [принадлежностей жертвоприношения] царский жрец-брахман наставил, побудил, воодушевил сердце царя Махавиджиты, совершающего великое жертвоприношение.  
These are the sixteen respects in which the high priest educated, encouraged, fired up, and inspired the king’s mind while he was performing the sacrifice.

Suppose there were none of the features, attributes, signs, and details by which the set of mental phenomena known as name is found. Would labeling contact still be found in the set of physical phenomena?”  
“Yehi, ānanda, ākārehi yehi liṅgehi yehi nimittehi yehi uddesehi rūpakāyassa paññatti hoti, tesu ākāresu …pe… tesu uddesesu asati api nu kho nāmakāye paṭighasamphasso paññāyethā”ti?  
Если бы те качества, черты, признаки и указатели, посредством которых есть описание материального тела полностью отсутствовали, возможно ли будет обнаружить соприкосновение воздействия в умственном теле'?

yehi vā pana ākārehi yehi liṅgehi yehi nimittehi rattiṁ chandasamādhippadhānasaṅkhārasamannāgataṁ iddhipādaṁ bhāveti, so tehi ākārehi tehi liṅgehi tehi nimittehi divā chandasamādhippadhānasaṅkhārasamannāgataṁ iddhipādaṁ bhāveti.  
And they develop it with the same features, attributes, and signs by night as by day.
