‘ajjeva me anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimuccatu sve vā uttarasve vā’ti. ‘Let my mind be freed from defilements by not grasping today! Or tomorrow! Or the day after!’ Atha kho, bhikkhave, hoti so samayo yaṁ tassa bhikkhuno adhisīlampi sikkhato adhicittampi sikkhato adhipaññampi sikkhato anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimuccati. But there comes a time—as that mendicant trains in the higher ethics, the higher mind, and the higher wisdom—that their mind is freed from defilements by not grasping.
Atha ca pana me na anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimuccati, saṁvijjanti kho pana me kule bhogā, sakkā bhogā ca bhuñjituṁ puññāni ca kātuṁ. Yet my mind is not freed from defilements by not grasping. But my family has wealth. I could enjoy that wealth and make merit. Atha ca pana me na anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimuccati, saṁvijjanti kho pana me kule bhogā, sakkā bhogā ca bhuñjituṁ puññāni ca kātuṁ. Yet my mind is not freed from defilements by not grasping. But my family has wealth. I could enjoy that wealth and make merit.
‘aho vata me anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimucceyyā’ti, ‘If only my mind were freed from the defilements by not grasping!’ atha khvassa neva anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimuccati. Even so, their mind is not freed from defilements by not grasping. ‘aho vata me anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimucceyyā’ti, ‘If only my mind was freed from the defilements by not grasping!’ atha khvassa neva anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimuccati. Even so, their mind is not freed from defilements by not grasping. ‘aho vata me anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimucceyyā’ti, ‘If only my mind was freed from the defilements by not grasping!’ atha khvassa anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimuccati. Even so, their mind is freed from defilements by not grasping. ‘aho vata me anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimucceyyā’ti, ‘If only my mind was freed from the defilements by not grasping!’ atha khvassa anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimuccati. Even so, their mind is freed from defilements by not grasping.
Imasmiñca pana veyyākaraṇasmiṁ bhaññamāne saṭṭhimattānaṁ bhikkhūnaṁ anupādāya āsavehi cittāni vimucciṁsūti. And while this discourse was being spoken, the minds of sixty mendicants were freed from defilements by not grasping. "Imasmiñca → imasmiṁ kho (bj, pts-vp-pli1) "
Atha kho bāhiyassa dārucīriyassa bhagavato imāya saṅkhittāya dhammadesanāya tāvadeva anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimucci. Then, due to this brief Dhamma teaching of the Buddha, Bāhiya’s mind was right away freed from defilements by not grasping.
Atha kho āyasmato lakuṇḍakabhaddiyassa āyasmatā sāriputtena anekapariyāyena dhammiyā kathāya sandassiyamānassa samādapiyamānassa samuttejiyamānassa sampahaṁsiyamānassa anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimucci. Then after being taught like this Bhaddiya’s mind was freed from defilements by not grasping.
Iti hidaṁ āyasmato sāriputtassa paṭisañcikkhato anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimucci. И когда достопочтенный Сарипутта обдумал это, его ум освободился от пятен [загрязнений ума] посредством не-цепляния. ",

Imasmiñca pana veyyākaraṇasmiṁ bhaññamāne āyasmato rāhulassa anupādāya āsavehi cittaṁ vimucci. And while this discourse was being spoken, Rāhula’s mind was freed from defilements by not grasping.
Imasmiṁ kho pana veyyākaraṇasmiṁ bhaññamāne saṭṭhimattānaṁ bhikkhūnaṁ anupādāya āsavehi cittāni vimucciṁsūti. И по мере произнесения этого наставления умы шестидесяти монахов освободились от пятен [умственных загрязнений] посредством не-цепляния. "

Why don’t I teach them the Dhamma in such a way that their minds are freed from defilements by not grasping while sitting in this very seat?” Imasmiñca pana veyyākaraṇasmiṁ bhaññamāne tiṁsamattānaṁ pāveyyakānaṁ bhikkhūnaṁ anupādāya āsavehi cittāni vimucciṁsūti. And while this discourse was being spoken, the minds of the thirty mendicants from Pāvā were freed from defilements by not grasping. "
Imasmiñca pana veyyākaraṇasmiṁ bhaññamāne pañcavaggiyānaṁ bhikkhūnaṁ anupādāya āsavehi cittāni vimucciṁsūti. И во время этой беседы умы этих пяти монахов освободились от загрязнений посредством отсутствия цепляния».
Imasmiñca pana veyyākaraṇasmiṁ bhaññamāne saṭṭhimattānaṁ therānaṁ bhikkhūnaṁ anupādāya āsavehi cittāni vimucciṁsu, āyasmato khemakassa cāti. And while this discourse was being spoken, the minds of sixty senior mendicants and of Venerable Khemaka were freed from defilements by not grasping. "

anupādāya ca me āsavehi cittaṁ vimucci. And my mind was freed from defilements by not grasping. ‘neva me kāyo kilameyya na cakkhūni, anupādāya ca me āsavehi cittaṁ vimucceyyā’ti, ‘May neither my body nor my eyes became fatigued. And may my mind be freed from the defilements by not grasping.’
