SA 10（一〇） 无常

Thus have I heard: | 如是我闻： |
At one time the Buddha was staying at Anāthapiṇḍada’s Park in the Jeta Grove near Śrāvastī. | 一时，佛住舍卫国祇树给孤独园。 |
At that time the World-Honored One told the bhikṣus: "Form is impermanent. Impermanence is suffering. Suffering is not self. What is not self is not mine. To view it in this way is called true contemplation. Feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are also impermanent. Impermanence is suffering. Suffering is not self. What is not self is not mine. To view it in this way is called true contemplation. | 尔时，世尊告诸比丘：「色无常，无常即苦，苦即非我，非我者即非我所。如是观者，名真实观。如是受、想、行、识无常，无常即苦，苦即非我，非我者即非我所。如是观者，名真实观。 |
"Noble disciples! To view it in this way is liberation from form, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. I say that these liberations are liberation from birth, old age, sickness, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, and distress." | 「圣弟子！如是观者，于色解脱，于受、想、行、识解脱。我说是等解脱于生、老、病、死、忧、悲、苦、恼。」 |
At that time, the bhikṣus, having heard the Buddha's teaching, joyfully received and practiced it. | 时，诸比丘闻佛所说，欢喜奉行。 |
