Let mindfulness of breathing be well-established internally in front of you.
Ānāpānassatiyā ajjhattaṁ parimukhaṁ sūpaṭṭhititāya ye bāhirā vitakkāsayā vighātapakkhikā, te na honti.
When mindfulness of breathing is well-established internally in front of you, there will be no distressing external thoughts or wishes.

Seeing this, they went up to Bhāradvāja and said to him,
Asukasmiṁ vanasaṇḍe samaṇo nisinno pallaṅkaṁ ābhujitvā ujuṁ kāyaṁ paṇidhāya parimukhaṁ satiṁ upaṭṭhapetvā”.
